Springfield's Annual Pride Parade Draws Thousands for Second Year Running.
TL;DR
Thousands of people marched in Springfield's second annual Pride Parade, which may have been larger than last year's event. The parade featured colorful attire, music, and performances, and was supported by various groups and sponsors. The event was seen as a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and a way to resist hate. The Safe Space initiative, which partners with businesses to demonstrate inclusivity, was also highlighted. The parade ended with a block party featuring vendors and performers.
