Texas County Considers Closing Libraries to Avoid Book Ban

Llano County commissioners in Texas are deciding whether to shut down the county's more than 100-year-old library system or comply with a judge's order to restore the books they banned. The commissioners violated the Constitution by removing a dozen or so mostly children's books from the shelves, according to a federal judge. The debate has driven a wedge through the mostly rural county, and it could get heated when the commissioners meet.
