OceanGate CEO's disregard for safety warnings leads to submersible tragedy.

A deep sea engineer has claimed that OceanGate's CEO ignored warnings against using carbon fiber for the submersible that imploded and killed five people during a trip to see the Titanic wreckage. The engineer advised against the use of carbon fiber, which has not been tested over time in extreme depths of the ocean, but the CEO moved forward with it. The engineer also claimed that the CEO cut corners, such as not building the submersible in a pair for self-rescue capacity or with a remotely operated vehicle for self-rescue.
