Fatal Crash at I-35 and Lake Street in Minneapolis Leaves Five Dead

Four women and one girl died in a car crash in Minneapolis after a vehicle traveling at a high speed ran a red light and collided with their car. The driver of the suspect vehicle was taken into custody. The Minnesota State Patrol had reportedly observed the suspect vehicle driving in excess of the speed limit before the crash, but had not attempted a traffic stop. The circumstances leading up to the crash are still unclear.
