Tragic accident: Ohio woman fatally shot by 2-year-old son.

A 31-year-old pregnant woman died after being accidentally shot in the back by her 2-year-old son who found a loaded gun on a nearby nightstand in their Ohio home. The victim was rushed to the hospital for an emergency cesarean section, but doctors couldn't save the baby. The house was full of safety features, but the baby gates were left open, and the victim apparently didn't realize the child had followed her before he started playing with the gun and it discharged. Police found a loaded shotgun and rifle in the home and urged families to lock up guns and never leave them loaded and unattended.
