Two Arrested After Gila River Officer and Civilian Fatally Shot

Joshua Briese, a rookie police officer with the Gila River Police Department in Arizona, was fatally shot while responding to a disturbance, mirroring the fate of his father who died on duty 18 years earlier. Briese, who had always aspired to follow in his father's footsteps, was killed alongside another officer who survived.
