Multiple empty train cars belonging to Norfolk Southern derailed near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with no injuries or safety hazards reported. This is the fourth derailment incident involving Norfolk Southern's trains since the start of 2023. The company has already begun the cleanup process, and the National Transportation Safety Board has opened a special investigation into the company, including at least five different "significant accidents" involving the company since 2021.
