Outdoor clothing brand KÜHL has compiled a list of the top 10 deadliest national parks based on factors such as deaths, missing persons, search and rescue missions, and hospital accessibility. The Grand Canyon in Arizona tops the list, followed by Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska and Isle Royale National Park in Michigan. Other parks on the list include North Cascades National Park, Dry Tortugas National Park, Big Bend National Park, Denali National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, and Mount Rainier National Park. KÜHL emphasizes that while these parks pose higher risk exposure, the average odds of a fatal incident in a national park are lower than those of a traffic crash.
