Live-streamer linked to shooting outside Tennessee courthouse

Controversial streamer Dalton Eatherly, known as Chud the Builder, was involved in a confrontation outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tenn., that escalated to gunfire. Eatherly allegedly opened fire and appeared to shoot himself in the arm, injuring another person as well; the courthouse was locked down and two victims were hospitalized in stable condition. Investigators say there’s no ongoing threat to the public, and Eatherly was the defendant in a contract/debt case. He has prior Nashville arrests for disorderly conduct and theft of services after allegedly refusing to pay a restaurant bill and resisting arrest; he’s due back in court July 17 for those charges.
