Alligator halts fleeing driver as Louisiana chase ends with drone-assisted capture

A man suspected of reckless driving in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, fled from state police after a crash, was attacked by an alligator during a swampy escape, and continued fleeing until he was finally caught with the help of drone technology. Victor Rivas, 40, was treated for arm injuries and booked on driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and fugitive from nearby Jefferson Parish charges; his bond was set at $17,500.
