Driver named after Virginia bus crash leaves five dead, dozens injured

A charter bus operated by E&P Travel traveling from New York to North Carolina struck six vehicles during a work-zone slowdown on southbound I-95 in Stafford County, Virginia, killing five people in other vehicles and injuring about three dozen of the roughly 34 people aboard. The driver, Jing S Dong, 48, of Staten Island, was injured and faces pending charges as investigators say the bus failed to slow for traffic. The crash led to a seven-hour southbound lane closure and detours; two additional crashes occurred nearby as the investigation continued. The five deceased include four people from Greenfield, Massachusetts in the Acura and a 25-year-old Worcester, Massachusetts resident in the Suburban.
