"Christmas Travel Forecast: Rain, Snow, and Storms Expected Across the US"

AAA predicts that 115 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more for the holidays, with 7.5 million flying and 105 million traveling by road. Weather conditions will be a crucial factor, as two storms are expected to impact major hubs such as Denver, Dallas, Minneapolis, the Kansas City area, and Chicago between Friday and Sunday. The first storm will bring limited moisture and low flight delay risks, while the second, more potent storm will cause heavy rain, snow in the mountains, and rain showers in lowlands. Rain is also expected to spread over the Deep South, the Ozarks, Upper Midwest, and western Great Lakes by Christmas Day.
