North Texas Braces for Severe Storms and Tornadoes on Thursday.

A tornado watch has been issued for most of North Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, through 10 p.m. on Thursday. The DFW Metroplex is now at a Level 3 Enhanced Risk, and the Level 4 Moderate Risk has been expanded further south to include Red River counties. Storms could produce large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado. Additionally, the first Heat Advisory of the season has been issued for parts of the metroplex, specifically Tarrant and Dallas counties, with high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 90s during the afternoon hours.
