Twin Tornadoes Strike Kent County as Dover Declares State of Emergency

Two tornadoes were confirmed in Kent County, Delaware, as a strong line of storms moved through Thursday evening. The first tornado touched down near Hartly around 5:55 p.m., followed by a likely stronger tornado over downtown Dover about 6:12 p.m. The storms caused significant damage, including roof damage to the Days Inn on Route 13, downed wires, and road closures.
