Coastal Storm Threatens Northeast with Heavy Rain and Flooding

A powerful coastal storm system is expected to bring heavy rain, high winds, and potential flooding to parts of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Rainfall of 2 to 3 inches is likely, with up to 4 inches possible in some areas. The heaviest rains and strongest winds are expected Sunday night and early Monday, with wind gusts of up to 50 mph along the coast. Minor flooding is expected along the Jersey Shore and moderate coastal flooding along the Delaware Bay. Temperatures will remain mild, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
