"Colorado Braces for Record Snowfall and Bitter Cold in Ongoing Arctic Outbreak"

Over the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday weekend, Colorado experienced heavy snowfall, with dozens of locations receiving over a foot of snow, including Mount Zirkel and Green Mountain Reservoir seeing 49.5 inches of snow. Overall, 34 locations in Colorado received over 2 feet of snow, while just over 80 other locations in the state received a foot or more of snow.
