Mudslides and Flooding Ravage Southern Minnesota Highways.
TL;DR
Heavy rain and flooding caused road closures in southern Minnesota and a mudslide on Highway 68. The mudslide was smaller than one in the same spot in 2018, and a few cars were damaged but no one was hurt. MnDOT is investigating the area to ensure there aren't further prevention efforts needed. Additional closures on some roads are expected due to the current forecasts. MnDOT advises drivers to check their road closures map and not to drive through water.
