"New York Governor Declares State of Emergency for Upstate NY Blizzard"

Gov. Hochul has declared a state of emergency for several counties in Upstate NY ahead of blizzard-like conditions forecasted to bring high winds, power outages, freezing wind chills, and up to a foot of lake effect snow. Travel will be difficult to impossible, and a travel ban for empty and tandem trucks/trailers will be in effect. New Yorkers are urged to stay safe and pay close attention to weather updates, especially those planning to attend Sunday’s Buffalo Bills’ game.
