Persistent Hazy Air Quality Alert Continues Amid Wildfire Smoke.

Hazy and smoky conditions from Canadian wildfires will continue to cause poor air quality in some areas, with an Air Quality Alert extended into Wednesday. An area of low pressure will bring some rainfall to New England and Upstate New York, but little beneficial rain is expected for areas in moderate drought. Partly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures are expected for the rest of the week, with a chance for isolated showers or thunderstorms. The weekend will start off dry and partly sunny, but a front may bring widespread rainfall late Sunday into Monday.
