Rainy Weekend Ahead for D.C. Area

The all-day rain in Washington D.C. brought over an inch of rain, the first time this year. While the widespread rain is winding down, drizzle and showers will persist into the night with some fog. Temperatures will remain in the low and mid-50s. Saturday will see patchy fog, a bit of drizzle or a shower may linger into the early morning, with clouds being numerous throughout the day. Sunday will bring more rain, with additional totals of about half an inch to an inch likely. Low pressure will pass right over the region, which should help it be a bit warmer than today.
