"Severe Thunderstorms Unleash High Winds, Tornado Warnings, and Torrential Rain"

Northeast Ohio experienced another round of severe thunderstorms, with tornado warnings and wind gusts up to 70 mph. The storms caused power outages for thousands of residents and dumped more rain on an already saturated area. Severe thunderstorm warnings and watches remained in effect, with the threat of damaging wind gusts, large hail, and additional rainfall. A flash flood watch was in effect, and a flood warning was issued for Lorain County. The flooding from the previous storms had receded, but excessive runoff could still cause flooding in low-lying areas.
