Unusual May Weather Patterns in Metro Detroit

After rain showers on Wednesday, Metro Detroit will experience a sunnier and drier stretch with temperatures warming up through the end of the week. High pressure will move into the region, bringing more sunshine and warmer temperatures. Friday highs will be in the 60s, while Saturday and Sunday will see highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s, respectively. Dry weather will continue until early next week, when another system is expected to bring rain. However, temperatures are expected to remain above average through the middle of May.
