Weekend Weather Brings Much Needed Rainfall and Gusty Winds.

Wausau, Wisconsin experienced its first heat wave of the summer with temperatures reaching 90°F for three consecutive days. However, relief is on the way as showers and storms are expected to bring down temperatures and provide much-needed rainfall to the area, which has been experiencing moderate drought. The showers and scattered storms are expected to continue into Monday, with rainfall of 1 to 2 inches possible. The weather will turn mostly cloudy on Thursday with showers and a chance of storms, and more clouds than sun with a chance of showers on Saturday.
