TL;DR

President Trump hosted a large military parade in Washington D.C. for the Army's 250th birthday, featuring thousands of soldiers and tanks, but it drew a smaller crowd than expected amid nationwide protests against Trump and political unrest. The event included a parade, concert, and fireworks, with some protests and incidents outside the parade area. Despite the spectacle, attendance was lower, and the event faced logistical and security challenges.
