Schools and Del Lago Prepare for Total Solar Eclipse

Several school districts in Northeast Ohio, including Rocky River City Schools, Avon Lake City Schools, Norwalk City Schools, and Buckeye Central School District, have decided to close on April 8, 2024, to allow students and staff to witness the total solar eclipse. The decision was made to alleviate traffic and congestion in the area during the once-in-a-lifetime event, which is projected to pass through the region around 3 p.m.
