"Protect Your Eyes and Capture the Perfect Shot: Navigating the Solar Eclipse Experience"
TL;DR
Optometrist warns that looking directly at the upcoming solar eclipse without proper eye protection can cause permanent eye damage, particularly for children who may not be aware of the risks. A 13-year-old boy experienced vision issues after viewing an eclipse without appropriate glasses, and the optometrist emphasized that there is currently no cure for this type of damage. Solar glasses labeled with "ISO" and "12312-2" are recommended to ensure safety, as it only takes two or three seconds for the damage to occur.
