Mapping Physics Labs Worldwide: A Global Overview

A team led by Heather Lewandowski from the University of Colorado Boulder is developing a global taxonomy to classify physics laboratory courses, aiming to create a standardized way to compare and improve these courses worldwide. The project, which began with a comprehensive survey of lab instructors from 23 countries, seeks to address the diverse structures and resources of lab courses globally. The initiative hopes to build a database that will help educators enhance their teaching methods and foster better physics education globally.
