TL;DR

The "ring of fire" solar eclipse, also known as an annular solar eclipse, will be visible from eight U.S. states in the southwest on October 14, 2023. While it won't be as spectacular as the total solar eclipse in 2024, there are still plenty of lodging options available for those who want to witness this rare celestial event. Some recommended places to book include La Pine, Oregon; Winnemucca, Nevada; Levan, Utah; Mancos, Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Concan, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; and Leakey, Texas.
