Brittney Griner to Release Memoir on Russian Detainment Experience.

Basketball star Brittney Griner is writing a memoir about her nearly 10 months behind bars in Russia, where she was wrongfully detained on drug charges. Griner hopes her book will raise awareness about other Americans who have been wrongfully detained abroad. The memoir will describe the terrifying aspects of day-to-day life in a women’s penal colony. The book is expected to be released in the spring of 2024.
