Comcast and NFL Network in Contract Dispute Resulting in Channel Blackout

NFL Network has gone dark on Comcast's Xfinity cable systems due to an apparent carriage dispute. Comcast customers who flip to the channel receive a message on-screen that reads, "Our programming agreement with NFL Network has expired." NFL Network programming includes "Good Morning Football," exclusive games during the season, NFL Draft coverage, and documentaries. NFL Media, the division of the league that has NFL Network under its umbrella, was bracing for major cost cuts.
