Senate Democrats demand DOJ investigation into PGA Tour's Saudi-backed merger.

Senate Democrats Elizabeth Warren and Ron Wyden have called for a Justice Department investigation into the merger agreement between the PGA Tour and Saudi-funded LIV Golf, citing potential violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act and concerns over Saudi Arabia's human rights abuses. The deal would combine the two entities' commercial businesses and put an end to pending antitrust litigation between the two golf organizations. The PGA Tour insists the deal isn't a merger and that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund will be a minority investor.
