Stars outline Plano arena plan for Willow Bend district

The Dallas Stars announced a non-binding Letter of Intent to pursue a new arena in Plano as part of a proposed mixed-use sports and entertainment district at The Shops at Willow Bend. The LOI, submitted to Plano City Council for a June 8 vote, envisions a development with sports, entertainment, retail, dining and public spaces anchored by the arena, designed in partnership with Levin Holdings & Cawley Partners and Centennial to create a year-round destination and strengthen ties to North Texas fans. The project awaits council approval and further discussions.
