Dustin Poirier booked on public drunkenness in Clayton County, Georgia

Retired UFC fighter Dustin Poirier was booked into Clayton County Jail on a public drunkenness charge after a Sunday night incident in metro Atlanta; he was released a few hours later. He posted on Instagram that he’s working on himself, and social media videos show him roughhousing at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Authorities have not disclosed where the arrest occurred or what led to it, and Poirier had announced sobriety in November following his retirement earlier in the year.
