Former Arkansas State star Blaise Taylor charged in poisoning death of pregnant girlfriend and unborn child

Blaise Taylor, a new assistant at Texas A&M, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the poisoning death of his girlfriend and her unborn child. He is accused of poisoning his girlfriend, Jade Benning, who later died along with her unborn child. Taylor had recently joined the A&M Athletics staff and was listed as a senior athletic assistant to the athletic director. Authorities are working to arrange Taylor's return to Nashville from Utah, where he was arrested.
