Von Miller Aims for No. 40, Proposes a Jersey Swap with Cowboys FB Luepke
TL;DR
Von Miller, after signing a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys, wants to wear No. 40—a number he previously wore at Texas A&M, the Rams, and Bills—but it’s currently worn by fullback Hunter Luepke. Miller has even floated incentives (humorously mentioning a lifetime supply of chicken) to persuade Luepke to switch, though he says the actual number is a minor detail compared with winning games and pursuing a Super Bowl.
