TL;DR
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has approached NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura about serving as his running mate on an independent presidential ticket. Both men have welcomed the overtures, with Kennedy confirming that they are at the top of his list. The involvement of Rodgers and Ventura could add star power and independent zeal to Kennedy's outsider bid, with polls showing him pulling roughly equal numbers of votes away from both President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump.
