49ers Schedule Goes Global with Melbourne Opener and Mexico City Showdown

San Francisco unveiled its 2026 regular-season and three-game preseason schedule, highlighted by two international games: Week 1 in Melbourne vs. the Rams and Week 11 in Mexico City vs. the Vikings. The Niners will host five primetime contests (including MNF vs. Washington Week 6, SNF vs. Vikings in Mexico City Week 11 and SNF vs. Eagles Week 17) and two Thursday games (Week 1 vs. the Rams in Melbourne and Week 15 at the Chargers), while rotating NFC East and AFC West cross-division games and closing the season on the road at Arizona. The preseason slate features Aug. 13 vs. Titans, Aug. 20 at Chargers, and Aug. 27 at Raiders.
