"NFL's International Expansion: Packers vs. Eagles in São Paulo for 2024 Season Opener"
TL;DR
The Green Bay Packers will open the 2024 NFL season in São Paulo, Brazil, marking the first regular-season NFL game in South America. São Paulo is the largest city in the Southern hemisphere, not the federal capital of Brazil, and has a ban on fans wearing the color green at the venue, Corinthians Arena. Soccer is a big deal in Brazil, but American football has found a foothold in the country, and São Paulo has the largest population of Japanese citizens outside of Japan.
