The Oakland Athletics have released renderings of a potential new stadium in Las Vegas, as negotiations continue with Nevada officials on public funding for the $1.5 billion project. A draft bill obtained by the Nevada Independent shows that public funds would be capped at $380 million, including $180 million in transferable tax credits and $120 million in Clark County-issued bonds. The A's have a deal to receive nine acres of the Tropicana Las Vegas site to build a 30,000-seat ballpark, subject to public funding being approved. The team would also need approval to relocate by a 75% vote of MLB owners.
