"Bengals Release Joe Mixon, Sign Zack Moss: Impact on Fantasy Football and Team Outlook"
TL;DR
The Cincinnati Bengals have released running back Joe Mixon after seven seasons, opting to sign former Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss to a two-year deal instead. Mixon, who took a pay cut last year to stay with the Bengals, served as the team's No. 1 running back for all seven seasons, but the decision to move on is a result of the coaching staff's desire for a more explosive offense and a cost-saving move, as Mixon was set to count $8.8 million against the team’s salary cap in 2024.
