"Brandin Cooks traded to Cowboys, bolstering their receiving corps"

The Dallas Cowboys have acquired wide receiver Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2023 and a sixth-round pick in 2024. Cooks, who has been traded four times in his career, had 57 receptions for 699 yards and three touchdowns last season. He joins a Cowboys pass-catching group that includes CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. The Texans, who are in a rebuilding phase, will pay $6 million of Cooks' contract for the 2023 season. They are left with Robert Woods and Nico Collins at the position.
