TL;DR

New Orleans Saints' defensive end Chase Young is set to miss part of training camp after undergoing a neck procedure, following his signing of a one-year deal with the team worth $13 million. The Saints were aware of the neck issue before signing Young and are comfortable moving ahead with the deal. Young missed the Washington Commanders' season opener last season due to a neck stinger but played through the injury, finishing the season with 7.5 combined sacks. Linebacker Nephi Sewell is also expected to miss training camp after tearing his ACL.
