Jim Turner, the legendary kicker who won the Super Bowl with the New York Jets and became a Denver Broncos icon, has died at the age of 82 from heart failure. Turner played 228 consecutive NFL games and never missed a game due to injury. He was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame in 1988 and held the second-most points in NFL history at his retirement. After his playing career, he worked as a broadcaster for NBC Sports, KNUS, and KOA Radio. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
