NBA Executive of the Year voting results announced.
TL;DR
Rob Pelinka, the general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers, finished 11th in the NBA Executive of the Year voting, receiving one second-place and one third-place vote. The award is voted on by fellow executives, and Pelinka's past as a former agent has made him unpopular. Despite completely overhauling the Lakers' roster midseason and turning them into a play-in team, Pelinka was not recognized for his efforts.
