"Packers Release Longtime LT David Bakhtiari, Clear $20 Million in Cap Space"
TL;DR
The Green Bay Packers have officially released left tackle David Bakhtiari, making him a free agent after 11 seasons with the team. Bakhtiari, a fourth-round pick in 2013, earned multiple All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors but suffered from injuries in recent seasons. The Jets could be a potential destination due to his relationship with Aaron Rodgers, but his playing future remains uncertain. Packers management and coach expressed gratitude for Bakhtiari's contributions on and off the field, wishing him and his family the best for the future.
