"Paycor Stadium Upgrades: Bengals Switch to FieldTurf for 2024 Season"
TL;DR
The Cincinnati Bengals are set to install new FieldTurf at Paycor Stadium ahead of the 2024 season as part of a larger $39 million project to upgrade the stadium. The nearly $1 million turf purchase is separate from potential decisions regarding the stadium lease. The new FieldTurf CORE system will be installed, marking a reunion with FieldTurf, and making the Bengals the eighth NFL team to use it for their home field. This move will replace the current slit-film turf and align with the team's commitment to providing a top-level playing surface for NFL games.
