Rodgers’ Steelers Chapter Hangs in the Balance After Tomlin Exit
TL;DR
Rooney said Aaron Rodgers came to Pittsburgh to play for Mike Tomlin, and with Tomlin’s departure his future with the Steelers—and possibly the NFL—is in doubt. Rodgers signed a one-year deal, and after a 30–6 wild-card loss to the Texans, his decision will likely hinge on whether he wants to continue in a rebuilding Steelers era, with retirement a real possibility in his 40s; a formal decision is expected in coming months.
