Seahawks' Offensive Struggles: Analyst Critiques O-Line, Geno Smith Vows Improvement
TL;DR
NFL analyst Brian Baldinger criticized the Seattle Seahawks' offensive line, describing them as "backups" due to their poor performance, including allowing seven sacks on Geno Smith against the Rams. The Seahawks rank low in pass and run block win rates, and Baldinger also highlighted the decline in tight end blocking as a contributing factor to their struggles. Despite having consistent starters, the line's inability to protect the quarterback and support the run game remains a significant issue.
