Tyler Buchner joins Alabama as transfer quarterback.

Notre Dame transfer quarterback Tyler Buchner has committed to the University of Alabama, reuniting with his former offensive coordinator Tommy Rees. Buchner started the year as Notre Dame's quarterback but lost his spot after suffering a shoulder injury. He completed 55.4% of his passes for 651 yards and three touchdowns with five interceptions over three starts. Buchner's arrival gives Alabama five scholarship quarterbacks, including redshirt sophomore Jalen Milroe and redshirt freshman Ty Simpson.
