
Princeton Clinches 7th NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Title With 16-9 Victory Over Notre Dame
Princeton, the No. 1 seed, captured its seventh NCAA men’s lacrosse title and its 12th straight win with a 16-9 victory over Notre Dame in Charlottesville. After Notre Dame grabbed a 3-0 lead, Princeton roared back with 11 straight goals to lead 11-3 at halftime. Chad Palumbo scored four goals (three by halftime) and Colin Burns added three, with Nate Kabiri (1G, 3A) and Tucker Wade adding key contributions. goalie Ryan Croddick made 13 saves in the final after a 20-save semifinal performance, earning Most Outstanding Player honors as Princeton dominated the title game. Palumbo, Burns, Kabiri and Wade earned all-tournament honors.
